Untaught Lessons

A man and a woman stage an erotic symposium beyond any conventional sense, through the routes of history, poetry and philosophy, at the same time presenting a number of stories equal to the number of constellations.
This is how Irini Venieri introduces her book “Untaught Lessons” (ed. Vergina), a composition inundated with intertextual references- from the ancient lyric poetry which inspired Kurosawa to Camys novels.
Born in Athens in 1972, with descent from Paros and with literature studies in Greece and Britain, Venieri has written two more books, “The Careless Swan” and the “Winged Encounter”.
